Attorney Profile

John Mark has been practicing law in New Orleans for over twelve years.  He began his career and honed his trial skills at a top-tier commercial litigation law firm in New Orleans, becoming a partner in the firm.  He represented clients in high profile, high stakes commercial disputes in both state and federal courts around Louisiana.  In  2017, John Mark joined the Voorhies Law Firm to devote his career to helping individual clients who have suffered personal injuries and businesses who have been damaged by unfair commercial practices

Education

In  2005, John Mark graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in the top 10 students in his class.  He was inducted into the Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for the highest performing students in each graduating class.  While in law school, he served as a managing editor of the Tulane Law Review, and he was the founder and president of the Tulane Christian Legal Society.  In 2005, he was awarded the Tulane 34 award in recognition of his academic achievement and service to the New Orleans community.  

John Mark graduated from Clemson University, summa cum laude, in 2002 with a B.S. in Marketing.

Professional Associations

John Mark has been the Treasurer of the New Orleans Christian Legal Society since 2011.  He is currently the co-chair of the Business Litigation Committee of the New Orleans Bar Association.
